L’Europa è guarita dalla “Sindrome di Ashton”. Secondo gli analisti mediorientali la Ue si è finalmente liberata del suo complesso americano. E ha modificato il suo rapporto con Israele ed Egitto.
Europe recovers from “Ashton’s syndrome”

1. The European Union countries share one political position.
2. This position corresponds to the US position, becoming an extension to Washington (and to Jerusalem).
3. Physically speaking, Europe was still alive but its brain was clinically connected to Washington main server.

Netenyahu: Jewish and democratic State
While, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he’s pushing forward a bill that enshrines in law that Israel is the nation-state of the Jewish people, the Associated Press reported.
Netanyahu described Israel as a Jewish and democratic state, and since its democratic nature has been legislated, so should its Jewish nature.
“The balance between these two facets is necessary,” he said in light of Palestinians and others refusing to recognize Israel as a Jewish state.
EU sanctions on Israel
The EU distributes document suggesting sanctions on Israel: The European Union has disseminated a “confidential” draft document to its 28 member states which includes a proposal for imposing sanctions on Israel if Tel Aviv takes actions in the West Bank hindering the possibility of a two-state solution, a newspaper citing Western and Israeli officials reported Sunday.
The classified paper was intended only for the EU members but European diplomats leaking the information to Israel made it known, the Haaretz reported.
Egypt reconnected to Europe
Two weeks ago, Egypt, Greece and Cyprus hold a Summit in Cairo and called to Turkey to stop drilling for crude oil and gas near Cyprus’ coastline and avoid similar acts in the future.
Sisi visit to Italy and France
Sisi visit to Europe: The Egyptian president El Sisi will cross the Mediterranean Sea and will visit Italy (24-25 November) and France (26-27 November).
These visits are extremely important to reconnect Egypt to Europe instead of throwing Egypt, according to the US vision, to the mentally retarded Islamists.
The Egyptian minister of industry and small/medium projects Munir Abdel Nur met the Italian ambassador to prepare for Sisi’s visit in which 200 big Italian enterprises will be involved. A similar meeting had been organized with the French partner.
Sisi’s visit to France will also include a military cooperation aspect.
This visit will have economical and political impacts. At this point of history, Egypt needs investments, technology and a giant economic development. It is not a choice but a necessity. To face all those extremists, what Egypt needs first of all is a strong economy which will give to the Egyptians a real income and a decent life.

I had been surprised to discover that Shady Abdel Salam movie “The Night of Counting the Years” (The mummy) had been the fruit of a collaboration between Shady Abdel Salam (director) and Roberto Rossellini (producer). Let’s have this movie as an example of what such cooperation could bring.

Netenyahu: Ebrei e stato democratico
Intanto il premier israelianoBenjamin Netanyahu, secondo quanto riferito dall’ Associated Press, ha detto che sta portando avanti un disegno di legge che sancisce che Israele è la nazione-stato del popolo ebraico e ha descritto Israele come uno stato ebraico e democratico, ed è essendo stata stabilita per legge la sua natura democratica lo stesso dovrebbe avvenire per la sua natura ebraica. La parità tra questi due aspetti è necessaria, ha detto, alla luce del rifiuto dei Palestinesi e di altri di riconoscere Israele come stato ebraico.
Le sanzioni Ue su Israele
La Ue ha diffuso un documento che suggerisce sanzioni contro Israele. E’ una bozza confidenziale, secondo quanto riportato da un giornale domenica, distribuita ai suoi 28 membri che contempla la proposta di sanzioni nel caso Tel Aviv metta in atto azioni nella West Bank che compromettano l’ipotesi di una soluzione a due stati
Il documento classificato era destinato soltanto ai membri della Ue ma i diplomatici europei, ha riferito Haaretz, hanno fatto trapelare l’informazione perché Israele ne fosse a conoscenza.
L’Egitto si è ricollegato all’Europa
Due settimane fa, Egitto, Grecia e Cipro hanno tenuto un summit a Cairo e fatto appello alla Turchia a sospendere le trivellazioni di petrolio e gas vicino alle coste dell’isola e di evitare simili iniziative in futuro
Sisi visita Italia e Francia
Sisi visita l’Europa: il presidente egiziano El Sisi attraverserà il Mediterraneo e visiterà l’Italia (il 24 e 25 novembre) e la Francia (26-27 novembre). Queste visite sono estremamente importanti per riconettere l’Egitto all’Europa invece di far ripiombare l’Egitto, secondo la visione americana, nella mentalità retrograda islamista. Il ministro egiziano dell’Industria e delle pmi Munir Abdel Nur hanno incontrato l’ambasciatore italiano per preparare la visita di Sisi nella quale saranno coinvolte 200 grandi imprese italiane. Un meeting simile si terrà in Francia.
La visita di Sisi in Francia includerà aspetti della cooperazione militare. La visita avrà ricadute politiche ed economiche. A questo punto della storia, l’Egitto ha bisogno di investimenti, tecnologia e un gigantesco sviluppo economico. Per far fronte gli estremisti il paese ha necessità per prima cosa di un’economia forte che assicuri a tutti gli egiziani entrate reali e una vita decente.
La Mummia
Io sono rimasto sorpreso nello scoprire che il film di Shady Abdel Salam “The Night of Counting the Years” (La Mummia) è stato il prodotto di una collaborazione con Roberto Rossellini. Questo film è un esempio di come la cooperazione possa funzionare.
