( English Version)San Francisco is currently the richest city in the world due to Silicon Valley (FB, Youtube, Google) and among the richest cities for municipal funds.
On 3 March, SF Mayor Mr. Edward Lee, originally from Ciñese, died suddenly. Since then, eight candidates of different social and ethnic backgrounds have been competing for the election of the new mayor: Angela Alioto, daughter of the ex -Mayor Joseph Alioto, of Italian origin, lawyer for human rights, legislator, favorite by popular consent, London Breed, African-American, Chairman of the Supervisors Committee, supported by private sponsors, Jane Kim, of asián origin, municipal supervisor; former Senator Mark Leno, supported by private sponsors and citizens, Amy Farah Weiss, employed at St. Francis Homeless Challenge, Ellen Lee Zhou, asian, employed by the municipality; Michelle Bravo, holistic healthcare provider, Richie Greenberg, Business startup consultant.
There are three favorites candidates: Angela Alioto for popular consensus, London Breed almost totally supported by private sponsors and former Senator Mark Leno supported for more than 50% by private sponsors.
In three months, London Breed spent about one million dollars for her electoral campaign and Leno more than half  million, while Alioto spent what she lawfully  received  by thousands of SF citizens who spontaneously donated for her electoral campaign. The machine of manipulation acts strongly on many of the citizens of SF and especially on those who, returning home from work at 5pm, after closing the front door, ignore the serious problem of dirtiness that is in the city, invaded  by rats and where crime has reached world record summits. This type of citizen is the most vulnerable by the wash brain done by the election campaign paid by sponsors.
If, by law, a candidate can compete for the election of the mayor if at least five thousand SF citizens pay $ 100 each one in his favor, there is no law that limits a budget for the election campaign. These elections, therefore, are clearly not on the side of citizens, but on that of sponsors. We can not talk about democratic elections at this point, that’s why, over the years, the serious problems of homelessness, crime, drugs, public hygiene, pollution, and traffic have grown, since the city is not longer from the side of the citizen, but is maneuvered by private interests.
In this context, the games are already made. No surprise therefore for who will be the new mayor of SF.
