E’ chiamato “Il Divino” nella gran parte di tutti i continenti. E’ un personaggio eccezionale che incontrò Frank Sinatra a New York e quell’incontro fu così speciale che un regista italiano, Andrea Marfori, ha appena ultimato un cortometraggio su questo; il primo e il solo dedicato anche a Sinatra100. Stiamo parlando del Conte Federico S.Q. di Wardal, considerato una delle muse di Federico Fellini. Wardal è particolarmente lieto di dare il suo tributo artistico nell’ambito del pre-evento ‘Frank Sinatra 100 anniversario’ al SF Opera Plaza ed SF Istituto Italiano di Cultura. Poi continuato al vicinissimo Herbst Theatre, organizzato dalla The Cole Porter Society. La leggenda delle leggende, Mrs. Marlene Dietrich, introdusse l’allora giovanissimo conte a “The Voice” e quando Sinatra incontrò il conte, gli chiese di interpretare una battuta che Fellini aveva dato a Wardal in uno dei suoi film. Sinatra diede in regalo a Wardal il suo accendino con le sue iniziali, stesse iniziali del Conte: Federico Sangirardi (conte di Wardal).
Tanti aspetti di vita vissuta collegano Sinatra con il Conte, anche se entrambi appartengono a così diverse generazioni e tempi, ma nonostante questo hanno percorsi simili. Sinatra: da Hoboken a Hollywood è un lungo viaggio, soprattutto per un figlio di immigrati italiani che sono venuti negli Usa armati di nient’altro che sogni. La famiglia ostacola la sua carriera artistica. Suo padre gli dice che perde tempo se non arriva ad esibirsi al Teatro Alla Scala di Milano, uno dei più prestigiosi teatri del mondo. Ma a forza di talento, immense capacita di destreggiarsi e di resistenz,a e qualche piccolo aiuto da parte di pochi veri amici, Frank Sinatra è diventato la voce di un secolo. Con oltre 2.000 canzoni registrate durante più di sessant’anni di carriera, si possono sentire nella sua voce desideri ed aspirazioni dei giovani, la saggezza della maturità e la riflessione dell’età. 50 anni fa, al culmine del suo successo, è stato registrato dal vivo al Sands. 25 anni fa, all’età di 75 anni , viene registrato dal vivo durante il suo spettacolo con Liza Minnelli. Wardal: all’età di 14 anni lascia la sua famiglia italiana che si oppone fortemente alla sua carriera artistica ed “emigra” nel mondo…

Il conte di Wardal diventa man mano in quasi tutti I continenti l’icona del dialogo tra le culture e la pace specialmente per I suoi successi in teatre, cinema e come interptrete canoro , in varie lingue tra cui arabo, inglese , italiano, spagnolo, tedesco, francese. Egli è considerato l’inventore del performing visual art per i diritti umani. Dopo la sua amica la grandissima e famosissima cantante Dalida, una emigrante italiana, Wardal è il più famoso artista occidentale nel mondo arabo per le sue apparizioni in tv, ma anche in Europa e negli Stati Uniti dove ottiene trionfi personali soprattutto in Italia e Francia e successivamente in New York City e California. Wardal sarà l’unica star “italo americana” ad esibirsi al Sinatra100 Evento (pre-evento). Ma Wardal ha chiamato un’altra star italo americana a partecipare a Sinatra100: Fabio Giotto, nato in California, compositore e cantante molto popolare a San Francisco e proprietario del Caffè Trieste, dove Francis Ford Coppola ha scritto: Il Padrino. Luciano Pavarotti, Domenico Modugno, Gianni Morandi si sono esibiti al “ Caffè Trieste “
Wardal, splendidamente vestito dalla stilista italiana Vanessa Foglia, propone anche la sua versione specialissima di “My Way”, dicendo che la canta perchè: “Il mio cuore ascolta il battito del cuore di Frank” e, aggiunge: “Essere se stessi significa essere il primo “. La Tv di Stato dell ‘Egitto Tv 2 ° canale , programma “Cooperazione” della carismatica e famosa giornalista Dar. Taghrid Arafa, è stata una delle prime Tv, sin dallo scorso settembre, a trasmettere una performance di Wardal dedicata a 100 Sinatra.

Wardal will be the only “ Italian American” star to perform at Sinatra100 World Event ( pre-event ).
